Elizabeth Daniels is a writer, teacher, cancer survivor, and Jesus’ believer. Graduating from Kentucky Christian University with a degree in Biblical Studies and Middle Grade Education, she has taught off and on for 18 years for Knox County Public Schools. Currently, she teaches 5th grade Language Arts and is deeply in love with her job. It is humbling to her that she gets the opportunity to teach her students the joy of reading. A skill that has the potential to allow the reading and understanding of God’s word.
With a deep desire to preserve parts of Appalachian culture, she writes stories within a backdrop of breaking beans, playing in the creek, and preserving a simpler time. She is proud of her Scotch Irish roots and loves the place she calls home.
Elizabeth is the wife of William and the mother of Anna and Ally. Both of her daughters are married and out of the nest. Fly birdies, fly. All that is left is her husband and her baby dog, Dash. Dash may be her favorite. Elizabeth enjoys serving in her church, teaching a women’s bible study and writing some of the curriculum. Speaking whenever and wherever she can, Elizabeth loves to mentor others and speak of the goodness of God. She can also be on occasion spotted on the praise and worship team.
She is an avid reader of Christian Fiction and drinker of coffee with a bit of cream.
